Asthma and sport
Sport is extremely important in maintaining overall asthmatic fitness. Asthma and sports are not mutually exclusive. However, when planning an intense effort, a solid warm-up should be done.
It is worth remembering that children suffering from asthma should not be released from physical education classes, nor do they have to avoid intensive training. Asthma is recommended for sport in which the effort is spread over a longer period of time, i.e. cycling, jogging, swimming, rowing, canoeing or gymnastics.
Performing exercises in an atmosphere rich in salt spray additionally contributes to improving the well-being of patients. If the room in which we perform the exercise is filled with dry salt aerosol, we will receive two therapies at one time.
